November 30-December 10, 2022
This exhibition occupied the South Bridge of the former Corcoran Gallery of Art, a historic site that dates back to 1897, just prior to the Philippine American War. The South Bridge will undergo a transition in early 2023 as the National Gallery of Art prepares for its residence there. Perched on a moment of change, it was the consummate setting for Tina V’s work.

Closing Ritual for Filipinabilia
Five dozen white roses were sent to the artist the day of the exhibition reception. As their process of decay progressed, they were given new meaning as ritual objects.
